A bedu, or bedouin, is a person who lives a nomadic life, traveling the desert with his or her tribe, trading livestock and goods.

I had the wonderful opportunity to grow up in Saudi Arabia, and from there was able to travel to many countries throughout the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. My pottery definitely has been influenced by the beautiful art, mosaics, and architecture I saw while traveling.
